May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor!

The Hunger Games of course. I felt that they did a great visual job on the movie. The characters from the capitol, the arena, the seam, the capitol.. every thing was amazing to look at. They completely followed the story line great, but left actually building the relationships. Not just between Katniss and Peeta, but between gale, peeta, haymitch, cinna, the stylists, basically EVERYONE. I felt that at every slightly unimportant part they spent the most time on. Then the really important and critical events were super rushed.
I am very upset that:
Peeta never lost his leg in the movie
When they were about to take the berries it was the least dramatic event
The arena literally felt like two days
The final scene took 3 minutes to complete
Tresh was killed by the mutts
No one really seemed to struggle, no starvation, dehydration, injuries that lasted (especially Peeta's infected leg)

Pretty sure we won the Hunger Games.
I think it could have been executed way better than it was. So kind of a let down... but not completely.
This is mostly because I have the greatest best friend in the world. We purchased a pair of bows and arrows and applied our war makeup. Then set out to shoot everyone waiting in line at the theater. We laughed and had a great night. Even though I am sure most everyone thought we were retarded I will never forget how much fun we had.. Just adds to all the amazing memories I have with this girl. Like, being Thing 1 and Thing 2 for Halloween, tanning topless in the middle of no where. Making videos about how we love Miranda Gold. Spilling salsa on Jaz's white pants. Our twinner pants. Trying to be mean to everyone we saw.. No matter what is going on when Jazmin Ruby and I are together there is no stopping how crazy we become. I love her. I think the odds were in my favor when I found her in math with Melanie Nelson. She will forever be my bestest friend in the whole world! I love you Jaz.

PS, when the mutations jumped out of the trees I literally jumped out of my seat. (I was expecting Cato... not the mutts) I was scared out of my mind. They did a good job with that at least..
